About Us
Camerata is an auditioned choir composed of 9th-12th grade students. Camerata sings advanced level choral repertoire. For Camerata, students are expected to be fluent in the fundamentals of music theory, history, vocal technique, and sight singing. In addition to all school concerts, members of this choir are required to audition for All-Region and will also compete at Region Choral Performance Assessment and other qualifying competitions. There may also be seasonal events at which this choir will perform (i.e. Saline Symphony Orchestra concert). This class meets during the school day.
